Jaufenburg

The fortification was built in the 13th century on a hill overlooking St. Leonhard. In 1418 it passed to the counts Fuchs, who, in the 15th century, became one of the mightiest kin in the Tyrol. The imposing ruins with frescoes in the five-story tower are open to the public.
