The Passerschlucht path

The path's main attraction is the uniqueness of its natural features, the cliffs and the water, that have moulded its inimitable beauty.

  • 320 meters of climb/descent
  • 6,5 kilometers path
  • actual walking time from the centre of St. Leonhard to the centre of Moos: apporx. 2,5 hours 45 minutes
  • difficulty: easy to medium

Numerous options

From the dam below Moos it is possible to walk up to Moos passing via the "ice holes" and the Stieber waterfall

The Gletschermühlen below Platt are another natural monument. These can also be reached from the dam below Moos, by taking the path on the left bank of the river.

An attractive possibility on the way back to St. Leonhard is to take the path via the impressive Stuller waterfall and the sunny plateau of Stuls.

N.B.: the Passerschlucht path is only accessible on foot: the use of bikes is not permitted.
